Birding the Indiana Dunes Longshore Flight
No greater list of bird species has been put together while standing in a single spot in Indiana. The Indiana Dunes, with it's extensive habitat along the north-south oriented Lake Michigan is already known for its spectacular funneling effect for bird migration, but one spot tops them all. Explore the long-term study that has been documenting the spring migration phenomenon known as the longshore bird flight with Indiana Audubon executive director, Brad Bumgardner.
